I am extremely excited to continue my journey in this wonderful community as your new Director of Faith Formation. I look forward to celebrating many faith milestones with you and your children. I pray that each of your families develops an everlasting relationship with God surrounded by warmth and support. I was born and raised in Moraga. I received my Bachelor of Art degree in Rhetoric and Communications at UC Davis and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at Saint Mary’s College. I subsequently taught Kindergarten and Third Grade in the Moraga School District until I had children and moved to San Jose.
I lived in San Jose for 10 years near my husband, Chuck’s work for the Santa Clara County Fire Department. However, five years ago when the house across the street from my sister went on sale we moved back home to be near family and it was the best decision we ever made. When we moved back to Lamorinda, both Chuck and I wanted to find an inspiring parish that fed us spiritually with welcoming arms. Saint Perpetua Community has done that and so much more for our four children and us. This community has been a bright light in our family’s life. I hope to continue to foster a welcoming, inclusive, enthusiastic Faith Formation program and to get students and families excited about their faith journey. Each of your families is the heart of the Saint Perpetua Faith Formation community and I look forward to meeting you and your children and helping them grow in their faith.
